With the aim to ease the system maintenance, Ransys Bios is planning to launch its new product “SysCover” during May 2009. Based on the research conducted among the system administrators who maintain 50+ system in a campus wide network, Ransys Bios has developed the SysCover solution. SysCover addresses the problems including maintenance of Hardware Inventory, moving of computer spares from one system to other (like hard disk, processor etc.), elimination of software piracy, ensuring periodical preventive maintenance of systems etc.
SysCover manageability solution includes, SysCover server and downloadable SysCover client available as a part of the server. The current SysCover client version support only Windows* operating system. However, Ransys Bios plans to included Linux* and Mac* clients in the next quarter.
