The roots of Ransys Bios start with Bios Consultancy. It was established in the year 1998. Bios Consultancy was providing technical consultancy services to software companies in application system engineering, database designing, project management consultancy and business process reengineering.
Through its innovative solution, bios consultancy helped organization to build solution that last the ever growing business challenges. From 2000, bios consultancy started offering consultancy and technical service in open source. Through open development, bios consultancy has helped organization to migrate their solutions from proprietary solutions to open source and reduce the IT expenditures up to 50%.
From 2004, bios consultancy became a complete open source based IT solution provider. Through its novel concepts and sound industrial experience, bios consultancy facilitated organizations to enjoy the benefits of open source. Bios consultancy was actually known for its innovative and reengineering software design skills and the courage to venture into new domains.
By the end 2006, bios consultancy decided to expand business internationally. Inspite of all its technical abilities and industrial experience, proprietorship constitution of bios consultancy was limiting it from reaping the benefits of international market. To overcome the limitations, bios consultancy applied for 'Private Limited' company.
Now we are a private limited company and our name is Ransys Bios Technologies Private Limited. The name Ransys stands for Reliable Applications, Networks and Systems, where systems stand for Embedded Systems. Bios is to remind our roots and Technologies to mention we are a technology company (actually registrar of companies insisted us to put a word relevant to the industry we are in) and you every one know the meaning of Private Limited.
Now Ransys Bios has three divisions, (i) Application systems, (ii) Networking & (iii) Embedded system.
